Industrial Training @ Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd
Having my industrial training done with Rapid rail really helps to build positive effect in my personal and professional growth. I am very grateful I got the opportunity to be in a team with them as Rapid Rail provides many tasks and training that I can follow and gain experiences in.
Firstly, I have been exposed to many maintenance works done to trains we called as LRT. This helps me to dive deep into the mechanism behind a moving train especially the truck system. All the exposure brings me to a whole new aspect on how I view this public transport. As a mechanical student, I have gain knowledge on the processes flow charts, equipment and machine used and materials used that I have never encounter before.
Second is that I have improved in my social and adapting skills. Being the only girl in a workshop full of men are challenging. However, they all taught me various things from the mechanical knowledge to sharing of their experiences and life advice that I can learn from them. My supervisor taught me a lot about how to manage people and what is it like to be an engineer.
Last but not least, my experiences here training had been a very fulfilling journey. I am thankful to be part of them and would love to venture in the same path again.
